FSF responds to Hackitt consultation
04 September 2018
The FSF submitted a response to the Hackitt review consultation in which it stated its agreement in principle to the report and its recommendations.
The response noted that it was heartening that the recommendations from the Final Report were accord with the FSF Principles that were agreed in 2017.
The FSF reiterated its position that resilience to fire should enter into the approach. It is the Federation’s view that the use of a single metric can lead to a position where buildings are less resilient in the face of fire.
