Further discussion concerning obtaining better access to FRS Incident Reporting System data for FSF members has continued. At the Fire and Rescue Statistics User Group meeting on the 18 March, a DCLG-led session on Open Data was held.
In addition preliminary discussions have commenced regarding the relocation of Fire Statistics to the central statistics of the Home Office and the FSF desire to see more open access, similar to that already available on Justice Statistics at Police UK.
FSF have been asked to rate in order of importance from 1-11, the data collated from the FRS using the Incident Reporting System, to help Home Office statisticians consider priorities for possible action.
