The Chief Fire Officers’ Association (CFOA) has existed since 1941 and became a registered charity in 1999. CFOA aims to be the “Professional voice of the UK Fire & Rescue Service” and has been working on behalf of the UK F&RS and communities they serve for over 60 years.

CFOA aims to lead, advise, communicate with and support its members and the Fire & Rescue Service community. It also provides independent advice to government on fire prevention, protection, intervention, community safety and rescue matters.
