Call for interest in Brazil Trade Mission

British companies in the fire sector are invited to join a trade mission to Brazil in January.

The Joint International Fire Board, the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) and the Department for International Trade (DIT) Defence and Security Organisation (DSO) are planning the trade mission on 29-31 January,in response to a requirement from the Sao Paulo Fire Service potentially worth £80 million.

This trade mission offers a unique opportunity to network with all of Brazil fire services in one place
at the same time, to showcase your company’s capabilities and to influence the client’s
requirements accordingly.

The opportunities cover a wide area of firefighting capability and include fire appliances, underwater
rescue equipment, mobile and permanent command centres, IT and comms, breathing apparatus and personal protection equipment. The participation fee is £1000 (excl. VAT).

A briefing session will be taking place on the 13 of December from 4:00 until 6:00 at the offices of Turner and Townsend,One New Change, London,EC4M 9AF.

This will detail further information about the planned trade mission and there will also be a representative from the Sao Paulo Fire Service, DIT in Brazil and an agent who will be able to provide more information on procurement in the area.
